Our Commitment to Accessibility

The website transferplusil.com is operated by Transfer Plus. We made the website accessible out of a commitment to equality and respect for every customer, in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments for Service) Regulations, 5773-2013.

Website Accessibility Level

The website was made accessible in line with the recommendations of Israeli Standard SI 5568 for web content accessibility at level AA, which is based on the W3C WCAG 2.0 guidelines. We review the accessibility of the website from time to time and update the website and this statement accordingly.

Accessibility Adjustments on the Website

As part of making the website accessible, we made the following adjustments, among others:

  • A hierarchical heading structure and a logical reading order on every page.
  • Full keyboard navigation (Tab, Shift+Tab and Enter).
  • Alternative text for images that convey information.
  • Form fields marked with labels that screen readers recognize.
  • Sufficient contrast between text and background.
  • A display adapted to every screen size, including mobile phones and tablets.
  • Text can be enlarged in the browser up to 200% without losing content.
  • The page language is defined (Hebrew, English and Russian) for screen readers.
  • The operating system’s “reduce motion” setting is respected.

Accessibility Widget

The website includes a UserWay accessibility widget that lets every visitor adjust the display to their needs. Open it by clicking the accessibility icon on the side of the screen. Options include:

  • Increasing and decreasing text size.
  • Increasing line and letter spacing.
  • Adjusting contrast and inverting colors.
  • Highlighting links and headings.
  • A readable font for people with dyslexia.
  • Stopping animations and flashing content.
  • A larger mouse cursor and a reading guide.

The accessibility widget complements the accessibility work done in the website’s code and does not replace it.

Browsers and Assistive Technologies

The website is adapted to the latest versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, on desktop and mobile, and to work with common screen readers such as NVDA and VoiceOver.

Parts of the Website That Are Not Fully Accessible

Despite our efforts, some parts of the website may not yet be fully accessible. These are mainly third-party content that is not fully under our control, such as embedded YouTube videos and external services. If you come across such a part, let us know, and we will fix it or provide you with the information or service in another way.

Accessibility of Our Transfer Service

We want you to know in advance: our vehicles are not adapted for passengers who need to stay seated in a wheelchair. Our fleet has no vehicle with a wheelchair lift or ramp.

Passengers who can move from the wheelchair to a vehicle seat, on their own or with a companion’s help, are welcome to book a ride as usual. There is room in the vehicle for a folding wheelchair.

So we can prepare in advance, please let us know when booking if you are bringing a wheelchair, a walker or medical equipment. You can book by phone, WhatsApp or email, whichever suits you best.

Accessibility Coordinator and Accessibility Inquiries

Had difficulty browsing the website or receiving our service, or have a suggestion for improvement? We would be glad to hear from you. To help us handle your inquiry quickly, please describe the problem, the page where it appeared, and the browser or assistive technology you used. We are committed to responding to every inquiry as soon as possible.
